Security forces demolished a terrorist hideout in Mendhar, Mankot, Poonch. The forces seized two IEDs, a battery, two blankets, a large cache of RDX, and food supplies from the location. The operation was part of an ongoing effort to eliminate militant activity in the region. A suspicious object was reportedly spotted under the Chajla bridge in Mendhar, prompting authorities to quickly cordon off the area.

Meanwhile, in another significant developmet, ADGP Jammu Zone Anand Jain issued a stern warning against those harboring anti-national intentions or aiding terrorists, stating that such actions will result in strict consequences. He called on citizens to stay alert and assist law enforcement by reporting any suspicious activities. 


"Those harboring anti-national intentions or providing any support to terrorists will face severe consequences," Jain said. 


He added that the properties of 29 more absconding terrorists have been identified. 


The ADGP urged citizens to stay alert and report any suspicious activity to law enforcement agencies. Highlighting the J&K Police's commitment to maintaining peace in the region, Jain stated that efforts to dismantle the terror ecosystem and its networks are underway, including the attachment of properties linked to those involved. 


"The process for their attachment is underway and will be completed shortly, further tightening the noose around terror operatives," PTI quoted the ADGP as saying.
