New Delhi: A BJP MP from Gujarat - KC Patel - has filed a complaint that he was drugged and filmed in an objectionable position by a gang led by the woman.
Also, the BJP MP alleges that the woman demanded an extortion money of Rs 5 crore.
The Dehlhi Police has now launched a manhunt for a "high-profile" woman, according to a report in TOI.
According to the report, the gang has allegedly threatened to release his pictures and videos if the demand was not met.
Moreover, the woman also threatened to implicate the MP in a rape case, the report added.
KC Patel in his complaint, says,"The woman had sought some help and asked me to accompany her to a house in Ghaziabad, where I was given sedatives mixed in a soft drink."
The MP passed out. He realized he had been trapped when he regained his senses.
After getting the complaint, the police chief immediately ordered the registration of an FIR. An FIR has been filed under section 384 (extortion) of the IPC.
However, the victim claims she was repeatedly raped by MP at his house.
Reacting to the suspected honeytrap case, Valsad Lok Sabha MP KC Patel said, "These are all false allegations, I have full faith in law; will cooperate in the investigation."
