New Delhi: Two people died after a major fire broke out at Antara care for Seniors in Delhi's Greater Kailash Part 2 on Sunday (January 1) in the early morning. The fire department received a call regarding the massive fire at around 5.30 am and fire tenders were rushed to the spot immediately.
Five fire brigade vehicles of the fire department reached the spot and tried to control the fire on the 3rd floor of the Hospital. The fire brigade doused the fire at around 7 am and rescued 13 senior citizens.

One senior citizen has been shifted to MAX Hospital Saket through PCR and 12 have been shifted to another branch of the above hospital situated at Okhla. However, 2 women died of burns in the mishap. Both the deceased women were senior citizens aged 92 and 86.
The crime team and Mobile FSL team were sent to the spot. Further legal action will be taken under the legal provisions of law.
