In the Chitrakoot City Assembly Constituency of Madhya Pradesh, Surendra Singh Gaharwar from the Bharatiya Janata Party has emerged victorious with 58,009 votes, securing a significant lead of 6,670 votes over Neelanshu Chaturvedi of the Indian National Congress, who got 51339 votes.

04.10 pm: In the 10 th round of counting, Congress' Neelanshu Chaturvedi is leading by 2424 votes.

03.12 pm: While INC is trailing across the state, Congress' candidate from Chitrakkot seat, Neelanshu Chaturvedi has continued his edge by 3551 votes.

01.33 pm: The resulting trend is the same in the 6th round as well. As per the ECI, Congress' Neelanshu Chaturvedi is still on edge from BJP's Surendra Singh Gaharwar.

11.25 am: In the forth round of counting, Congress' Neelanshu Chaturvedi is leading by 2639 votes.

11.24 am: Congress Candidate Neelanshu Chaturvedi is leading from Chitrakoot. BJP candidate Surendra Singh Gaharwar is trailling by 1422 votes.
