New Delhi: Earthquake tremors were felt in Delhi and parts of north India around 1:30 pm on Tuesday. According to preliminary reports, a magnitude 5.4 quake occurred near Gandoh Bhalessa village in Jammu and Kashmir's Doda district. The earthquake tremors in Delhi NCR and other parts of north India were felt for over 20 seconds. The epicentre of the earthquake was Jammu and Kashmir's Doda and the magnitude of the tremors was 5.4 on the Richter scale.
Informing about the latest earthquake, National Center for Seismology tweeted, “Earthquake of Magnitude:5.4, Occurred on 13-06-2023, 13:33:42 IST, Lat: 33.15 & Long: 75.82, Depth: 6 Km ,Location: Doda, Jammu and Kashmir, India for more information Download the BhooKamp App.”

As of right now, no fatalities or property damage in Indian cities have been attributed to the earthquake vibrations felt in Jammu and Kashmir and Delhi NCR. More information on this is awaited.
