Encounter underway in Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla, first since Article 370's abrogation

An encounter broke out between terrorists and security forces in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday evening. This is the first encounter to take place in the newly formed Union territory (UT) after the abrogation of Article 370.  

Several terrorists are believed to be holed up in the area. The operation was going on when last reports came in.
