Gujarat Assembly Polls: PM Modi addresses rally in Valsad, says THIS

After inaugurating Arunachal Pradesh's airport, Varanasi's Kashi-Tamil Sangamam, PM Modi is off to Gujarat for resuming party's election campaign

Gujarat: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will kickstart a roadshow in Gujarat's Valsad for the upcoming Assembly elections. 

Also, PM Modi has inaugurated the month-long Kashi Tamil Sangamam program today, November 19, 2022. Guided by the motto of ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ the program will "celebrate, reaffirm and rediscover the age-old links between Tamil Nadu and Kashi – two of the country’s most important and ancient seats of learning," said the PIB press release.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Arunachal Pradesh's first greenfield airport `Donyi Polo Airport` at Holangi in Itanagar today, November 19, 2022. With Donyi Polo Airport the state will now have three operational airports and it will also account for the 16th airport in the North-East region. Built with a cost of more than Rs 640 crore and spanning over an area of over 690 acres, the airport is suitable for all weather day operations. The name of the airport Donyi Polo the reflection of Arunachal Pradesh's rich culture and heritage as 'Donyi' means Sun and 'Polo' means the Moon.

According to the official statement, the terminal constructed at Hollangi at a cost of Rs 955 crore has the capacity to handle 200 passengers per hour as it spans an area of 4100 sq m.

"The airport terminal is a modern building, which promotes energy efficiency, renewable energy, and the recycling of resources," read the official statement.

PM Modi addresses rally in Valsad

PM Narendra Modi said that Gujarati people have never hurt anybody and embraced whoever comes to Gujarat. Giving a subtle warning to the Gujaratis, PM said, "Beware of the people who want to defame Gujarat and are speaking against us. They are trying to defame Gujarat and Gujaratis. They are also trying to defame our state in foreign countries."

Prime Minister Narendra Modi begins roadshow in Vapi, Gujarat for the upcoming Assembly elections amid tight security. Heavy crowd has been observed in the area, cheering the Prime Minister. PM Modi was seen waiving at voters, urging them to vote for BJP party and help them retain their leadership.
