Lockdown helped in preventing 14-29 lakh COVID-19 cases, says Health Minister

On the second day of the Parliament`s Monsoon Session, LOK SABHA will discuss three Bills for consideration and passing. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is likely to make a statement on `Developments on our borders in Ladakh` in the lower house.

The Bill also proposes to increase the fine amount for violations of new rules from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 1 crore.Puri said that by the time we reach Diwali and towards the end of the year, we would have pre-COVID 3,00,000 passengers a day.
