The No-confidence against the Modi government was defeated in the Lok Sabha today. Replying to the opposition's no-trust vote, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a dig at the I.N.D.I.A. bloc and explained how the two 'Is' in the name of the alliance establish the arrogance of the Congress party. PM Modi also took aim at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and said those who have not even got off their cars and whose feet did not touch the ground will definitely be blown away after seeing the agricultural fields of the country. Taking a jibe at Rahul's "Mohabbat Ki Dukan", the PM said, Mohabbat Ki Nahi Loot Ki Dukan Hai" and the "shops" will be closed soon as the people of the country have "no confidence" in the grand old party.
PM Modi in his speech established that the BJP-led NDA government will return to the power in Lok Sabha elections 2024 with a landslide majority and will break all the previous records saying that the opposition should try the no-confidence motion again in 2028. The opposition walked out of the parliament amid the PM's speech. Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary was suspended from the lower house and will not be able to attend the Lok Sabha in this session.
