Maharashtra Polls: Congress party has released another list of 14 candidates on Sunday for the upcoming assembly elections. Notably, Ashok Jadhav has been selected to contest from Andheri West, replacing the incumbent Sachin Sawant.

Anil Nathu Shinde will contest from Amalner, while Sanjay Narayanrao Meshram has been fielded in the SC-reserved Umred seat. In the ST-reserved Armori constituency, Congress has nominated Ramdas Masram, and Pravin Nanaji Padwekar will contest from the SC-reserved Chandrapur seat. Sandeep Pandey will contest from Nalasopara.


Santoshsingh Chandansingh Rawat will represent the party in Ballarpur. Pravin Suresh Kakade has been chosen for Warora, in Nanded North, Congress has fielded Abdul Sattar Abdul Gafur. 


The grand old party has announced new candidate for for Aurangabad East, Lahu H. Shewale has replaced Madhukar Kishnarao Deshmukh. 



The state's 288-member assembly will go to the polls on November 20 with the counting and results scheduled on November 23.
