Nagpur: This story tells us how we can use technology and communication tools for good purposes!

A 24-year-old interning doctor (a final year MBBS student) has helped a woman give birth to a baby boy on train.

The incident happened on the Ahmedabad-Puri Express.

The MBBS student helped a woman give birth to a baby with instructions from his seniors through WhatsApp, according to a report in TOI.

Vipin Khadse is in his final stage of MBBS training and is not a qualified doctor yet but he performed a complicated delivery after a 24-year old lady went into labour on the train on Friday.

Reportedly, the train was about 30km from Nagpur when Chitralekha's relatives pulled the chain to halt the train near Wardha junction.

Khadse says the delivery was complicated as the baby's shoulder was hanging out.

Khadse uploaded a photo in a WhatsApp group of doctors for help and a senior resident Shikha Malik guided him on the phone to conduct the delivery.
