In the Panna City Assembly Constituency of Madhya Pradesh, Brijendra Pratap Singh from the Bharatiya Janata Party has emerged victorious with 96,668 votes, securing a significant lead of 17910 votes over Bharat Milan Pandey of the Indian National Congress, who got 78578 votes.

In the previous electoral cycle of 2018, Brijendra Pratap Singh secured a resounding victory for the Bharatiya Janata Party, overcoming Shivjeet Singh "Bhaiya Raja" of the Indian National Congress by an impressive margin of 20,708 votes.

04.06 pm: In the 20th round of counting, BJP's Brijendra Pratap Singh is leading with a margin of 17227 runs.

03.08 pm: Here comes another twist, BJP's Brijendra Pratap Singh is now leading the Panna Seat by 6671 votes.

01.30 pm: The resulting trend is the same in the 10th round as well. As per the ECI, Congress' Bharat Milan Pandey is still on edge from BJP's Brijendra Pratap Singh.

11.25 am: BJP candidate Brijendra Pratap Singh is leading from Panna. Congress candidate Bharat Milan Pandey is trailling by 416 votes.

The Panna Assembly constituency is integral to the Khajuraho Lok Sabha constituency. In the subsequent 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Bharatiya Janata Party candidate V.D. Sharma (Vishnu Datt Sharma) furthered the party's success, clinching the Khajuraho Lok Sabha (MP) seat with a substantial lead of 492,382 votes.
