Shah said that 'Rahul Baba' is spreading lies in the name of backward classes and claiming that the BJP will remove reservations in the country.

While addressing the public rally in Kasganj, Shah slammed Congress MP and said, "Rahul Baba is spreading lies in the name of backward classes. He says that if BJP wins 400 seats, BJP will remove reservations in the country."

The BJP leader further added that there are two terms with the absolute majority to remove reservation, but PM Mosi is a supporter of reservation. "He doesn't understand, that we had two full terms with an absolute majority to remove reservation, but Narendra Modi is a supporter of reservation. Today I will give you a Modi Guarantee that the SC, ST, and OBC reservation will neither be removed by the BJP nor will we let anyone else do that," Shah said.

on the other hand, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said that the Sangh has been a supporter of all reservations that come under the Constitution.

"A video is being circulated that RSS is against reservation and we cannot speak about this outside. Now this is completely false. The Sangh has been supporting all reservations as per the Constitution since the beginning..," Bhagwat said.

Earlier, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi attacked RSS and the saffron party while addressing a public rally in Daman and Diu, which is going to polls in phase 3 on May 7. 'RSS and BJP are forming a gang of anti-reservation leaders and if they come to power again, they will end reservation. BJP people are attacking reservation and the Constitution and are trying to destroy it. This is absolutely wrong and we will never let this happen," Gandhi said.

On Saturday a Congress leader shared a post on microblogging site X and said that the BJP wants to remove the reservation.

"...BJP wants to snatch away the reservation of Dalits, backward classes and tribals and end their participation in running the country. But to protect the Constitution and reservation, Congress is standing like a rock in the way of the BJP. As long as Congress is there, no power in the world can take away their reservation from the deprived people," Gandhi wrote in Hindi.
