New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Wednesday, was given a grand welcome by members in the Lok Sabha as he entered the House for the first time after the declaration of Assembly Election results.
The slogans of 'Bharat Mata ki Jai', "Jai Shri Ram", "Modi Modi" were chanted as the Prime Minister entered the House along with Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar and BJP's Chief Whip Rakesh Singh.
All members on the treasury benches stood up and greeted PM Modi by thumping their desks.
Their gesture forced Telugu Desam Party MP Kesineni Nani to stop from asking a question related to Bharat Net Project.

Among the five states, where Assembly Elections were held, the BJP secured two-third majority in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand and formed governments in Goa and Manipur with the help of smaller parties and Independents.
