A fire erupted on the ground floor of L Tower in one of the housing societies in Greater Noida. According to reports, the fire broke out at the flat in Greater Noida's Gaur City 14 Avenue. The flames were seen reaching up to the second floor before it was doused by the fire department. Reports suggested that a flare in the flat temple caused the fire that expanded till the fourth floor. There is no report of any casulaties. It took fire brigade officials around one hour to control the blaze.

"Today, on 26/04/2023, at around 12:15 pm, it was reported that a small temple lamp in L-2097, 14th Avenue, Gaur City 2 caught fire, causing the curtains of the adjacent room to catch fire. As soon as the information was received, 02 vehicles of the fire brigade reached the spot with the force of the post and the fire was brought under control. There is no loss of life. There is peace and order on the spot," said Guatam Buddha Nagar Police in a statement.



According to reports, the fire triggered a panic among the residents of the tower while chaos were witnessed in the society complex. However, Bisrakh police station responded in time and controlled the situation effectively. This is the second incident of fire in this society in the last one year. In May last year, a fire had broken out in the same society.
