New Delhi: After cutting the price of its 4G data price by up to 80 percent, Bharti Airtel is now offering 10GB of 4G data at just Rs 259.
Post the launch of Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Jio, Airtel had reduced the price of its 4G data by up to 80 percent offering 1GB at just Rs 51, though with a catch.
Airtel had also offered 10GB of 4G data at the price of 1GB data, i.e. Rs 250 only. This, too, came with a catch, i.e. to avail this said offer, one had to purchased the J series Samsung phones.
And now, India's leading telecom operator by number of subcribers is once again offering 10GB of 4G data at just Rs 259.
This, though, comes again with a catch, but an easier and simpler one.
The company is offering 10GB of 4G data on recharge of Rs 259 on any new 4G handset. However, only 1GB will be credited to the customer's account immediately while the remaining 9GB has to be claimed by the customer through MyAirtel App.
The validity will be for 28 days and customers can recharge their data a maximum of 3 times in 90 days.
"We are proud to have pioneered 4G network for users in India. This invitational offer has been designed for our data savvy customers who can now experience high speed broadband on Airtel's 4G network with their new devices," Ajai Puri, Director, Market Operations, Bharti Airtel said of the offer.
This offer was launched in Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh last week but is now open pan India.
