Amazon Great Indian Sale kicks off: Here is all you need to know

New Delhi: Amazon and Flipkart have announced their next big sale in order to celebrate the forthcoming Independence Day.

The two online stores will start their sales from Wednesday (August 9) offering discounts on various products across different categories.

While Flipkart's Big Freedom sale will end on August 11, Amazon Great Indian Sale will last up to 11.59 pm IST on August 12.

Amazon Prime members will be facilitated by early access to top deals along with Amazon's “blockbuster offers at never seen before prices.”

Here are all the details you need to know about Amazon sale offers and deals.

Mobile Phones

• In the Amazon Great Indian Sale, customers can get 40 percent off on mobiles and accessories which would also include up to 35 percent discount on iPhones.
  
• Customers may also get Rs 5,000 discount on Lenovo smartphones.
  
• On Samsung, OnePlus and Moto smartphones, there will be discount up to Rs 2,000.
  
• Customers can get up to Rs 1,000 off on Honor smartphone models.
  
• While Coolpad phones will be 15 percent cheaper, InFocus phones will slash off up to 7 percent in their prices.

TVs, laptops, and more

• Prices of Samsung and BPL TVs will be slashed by up to 35 percent.
  
• Sanyo and TCL televisions will have discounts up to 33 percent and 15 percent, respectively.
  
• Apple, Dell, Lenovo and HP laptops will get 20 percent cheaper in the Amazon sale.
  
• JBL speakers will have minimum discount of 45 percent.
  
• F&D models will have discounts up to 40 percent.
  
• Philips and Sony speakers will have discounts of up to 45 percent and 30 percent, respectively.
  
• There will be discounts of up to 60 percent on headphones brands such as Bose, Sony, Sennheiser, Philips, Skullcandy etc.
  
• TP-Link, D-Link, Netgear, and Digisol routers will have discounts of up to 50 percent.
  
• Powerbanks by Intex, Xiaomi, Ambrane, and Lenovo will be up to 65 percent cheaper.
  
• Gaming consoles will have minimum discount of Rs. 2,000, while Apple Watch models will get 20 percent cheaper.
  
• Fitbit trackers will have discounts of up to 30 percent, while Samsung wearbles will have a flat Rs. 2,000 discount.
  
• There will be discounts of up to 75 percent off on software products, up to 50 percent off on home entertainment products and PC accessories, up to 45 percent off on tablets and cameras, and up to 35 percent off on printers and cartridges.

Amazon Great Indian sale cashback offers

• "Amazon Pay Balance only deals" will be a part of Amazon sale, applicable for products by Samsung, Bose, Fitbit, LG and others with an instant cashback of about 10-15 percent.
  
• Customers who topped their Amazon Pay balance during the time period of August 4 and August 12 can avail extra 15 percent cashback. If the top-up recharge is of minimum Rs 500, the maximum cashback will be of Rs 300.
  
• Additionally, SBI credit and debit card holders can get 15 percent cashback on app and 10 percent on the website during the sale.
  
• There will be cashback of 5 percent on all email gift cards and about 20 percent off on gift cards from Clear trip, Pantaloons, BookMyShow and Joyalukkas.
