New Delhi: Thanks to Mukesh Ambani's yet to be launched Reliance Jio, major mobile service providers are cutting the prices of 3G/4G data by a huge margin of up to 67 percent.
The data war started when reports came that Reliance would be offering 90 days of free unlimited 4G mobile Internet and voice calling when it launches in August.
Following this, India's leading telecom service providers Airtel, Idea and Vodafone have cut the rates of their data tariff by up to 67 percent.
So, here's the new rates of 3G/4G mobile internet pack of Airtel, Idea Cellular and Vodafone India.
580MB (440MB) – Rs 145
3GB (2GB) – Rs 455 for 28 days
5GB (3GB) – Rs 655 for 28 days
6GB (4GB) – Rs 755 for 28 days
7GB (5GB) – Rs 855 for 28 days
10GB (6.5GB) -Rs 989 for 28 days
2GB – Rs 349 for 28 days (Rs 449)
5GB – Rs 649 for 28 days (Rs 849)
10GB-Rs 990 for 28 days (Rs 1349)
5GB (3GB) – Rs 650 for 28 days
3GB (2GB) – Rs 449 for 28 days
10GB (6GB)- Rs 999 for 28 days
50MB (30MB)-Rs 12 for 1 day
While the exact price of mobile internet for Reliance Jio is not clear that, reports suggest that the company will be giving 3 months of unlimited network usage for just Rs 2,999.
Moreover, it is expected to offer10 GB of data for around Rs 500, and 1 GB pack at just about Rs 80.
