New Delhi: Reliance Jio has shaken the entire telecom industry ever since it was being launched early this month.
So much has been the craze around the Reliance Jio 4G services that almost all telecom major have joined the tariff bandwagon, thereby making the customer feel like a king.
Reliance Jio 4G services requires a 4G enabled phone. However, many users don't want to buy another smartphone just to go along the Reliance Jio SIM.

Try the Jio4GVoice. It was initially launched as JioJoin. Jio4GVoice is a dialer for Reliance Jio and you can use it to make calls from your Jio phone or use it on your Jio without a 4G capable phone.
What is Jio4GVoice?
Jio4GVoice brings 4G HD voice and video calling on your existing 2G / 3G, LTE smartphone and “Rich Communication” features on all smartphones including VoLTE phones. It uses the Jio SIM number (which becomes your Jio4GVoice’s app number).
In addition to app-to-app calls, it lets you make and receive calls from any mobile/ landline number. It allows you to send SMS to any mobile user. It also has chat, file sharing features.

How to download
You can download Jio4GVoice from Google Playstore. Jio4GVoice is currently available only on Android phones running OS 4.0 and above.
How to start using Jio4GVoice?
After downloading Jio4GVoice, you have to configure it using a Jio SIM. If you have a 4G phone, you can just insert a Jio SIM and configure it. If you have a JioFi with Jio SIM, you can configure any 2G / 3G / 4G smart phone with it. Once you configure Jio4GVoice, the phone number of Jio SIM with which it is configured becomes the phone number of the app and the app is ready to be used.
Can Jio4GVoice be used with any kind of data connectivity?
No. Presently, it can only be used with Jio's network.
Reliance Jio Apps pip other apps on Google Play Store
After taking the competition in India`s telecom space to a new level when Reliance Jio offered voice calls for free forever and cut down data costs, Jio apps have now beaten mobile messaging service WhatsApp and social networking website Facebook on Google Play.
Of the top 10 apps downloaded from the Google Play store in India, seven are from Jio family. WhatsApp is placed at third spot and Facebook is at 12th spot.
MyJio app takes the top spot on the store while JioCinema is at second spot, revealed the top charts ranking on Google Play.
JioTV takes the fourth place, JioNet fifth, JioJoin sixth, JioMusic seventh and JioMags bags the 10th place on Google Play.
While MyJio has seen 10 million downloads, all other apps have crossed the one million downloads mark.
Eleven of the top 15 downloaded apps and 12 in top 20 belong to the Jio family.
Jio has also launched a new online shopping app AJIO that offers clothes, jewellery and accessories from more than 200 Indian and international brands.
Last week, Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani took announced that domestic phone calls from the Jio network will be free forever.
The data plans will also reflect the affordability for customers, with an effective base rate of 5 paise per MB or Rs 50 per GB, adding that based on the usage, the data tariff could go to as low as Rs 25 per GB.
Stirring up the price war
Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Jio's disruptive entry has shaken the entire telecom industry.
Reliance has announced a "free welcome offer" for Jio, starting September 5 under which it will provide free data, voice and video to users till December 31, 2016.
Anticipating the shake-up, rival Airtel has already slashed 3G and 4G prices by up to 80 percent while Vodafone has heaped more data into its prepaid tariffs.
The tariff plans of Reliance Jio 4G starts from as low as Rs 19 which comes with unlimited voice calling and free roaming, 100MB of data plus unlimited night data to as high at Rs 4,999 tariff plan which combines 75GB of data plus unlimited night data.
