New Delhi: Ever since Mukesh Ambani announced the launch of much-talked about Jio 4G service, offering free voice calls and national roaming along with what he touted as the world's lowest data tariff, telecom companies have left no stone unturned to win customer's confidence.
While Ambani's new venture has let to severe tariff war among other telecom companies like Airtel, Vodafone, Idea and BSNL, the customer stands to gain the most.
On one hand telecom companies are offering lucrative offers to retain customers while on the other hand they are engaging in pact with other telecom companies to remain solid in the competition market.
Vodafone and state-owned BSNL have inked a countrywide 2G intra-circle roaming agreement to provide better telecom services to their respective customers.

Vodafone India has over 1,37,000 towers across the country
BSNL has more than 1,14,000 (tower).
After this partnering, the reach of network of both the companies, especially in the hinterland of the country and surrounding rural areas will improve.
