New Delhi: It's raining offers on mobile data and calling! In a bid to tap the data-hungry Indians and also to counter Reliance Jio's, several telecom operators have come up with lucrative plans.
These plans range from unlimited calling, extravagant mobile internet data and reduced call rates to name a few.
Reliance Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan Offer
After regulator TRAI nixed its complimentary offer, Reliance Jio early this month announced a new plan of 1GB 4G data daily for 3 months at Rs 309 for its Prime members.
Announcing its new offer, Jio said that under the Rs 309 plan it would provide "unlimited SMS, calling and data (1GB per day at 4G speed) for 3 months on first recharge.
For Rs 509, the company is offering unlimited SMS, calling and double the data (2GB per day) for 3 months on first recharge.
Jio Prime members, customers who were unable to subscribe to Jio Prime for any reason, can continue to do so by paying Rs 408 or Rs 608 (Jio Prime + recharge price) to avail these benefits
Airtel's Offer
Airtel has announced Double Your Holiday Surprises offer for the post paid users giving 30GB of free data for three months (10GB per month). The offer was initially available for Airtel postpaid customers till April 13 but Airtel has now extended it till April 30.
The offer can be availed using the My Airtel app. Post paid subscribers who joined Airtel before February 28 can get 10GB 4G monthly data for three months for free. The extra data will be offered in addition to the existing data under different postpaid plans.
Additionally, Airtel has also announced unbelievable roaming scheme for its users. If the subscribers forget to activate roaming pack before they leave India, Airtel will automatically activate the required pack after exhaustion of benefits under the plan.
For example, if you are travelling to Singapore, Airtel's daily pack will include unlimited incoming calls, free data, SMS and calls to India at Rs 499. So if you leave for Singapore without activating the pack, Airtel will automatically activate the same after your daily usage exceeds Rs 499.
Idea Offer
Idea has come up with an Ultimate postpaid plan for customers giving upto 12GB data, unlimited calls, SMSes and free roaming.
As per a report in Gadget 360 degree, Idea has come up with two “Ultimate postpaid plan”. At Rs 999 Ultimate postpaid plan users can get up to 12GB data while Rs 499 Ultimate plan provides up to 9GB of data.
Both plans come with unlimited calls, free roaming, and bundled SMSes. Idea is also providing customers 1GB of free data as part of its “Acquisition Offer”, Gadget 360 degree report said.

BSNL Offer
BSNL has announced new plans between Rs 333 and Rs 395, offering daily data usage limit of up to 3 GB, unlimited calling and 90 day validity.
BSNL's new plan, Triple Ace, for mobile customers priced at Rs 333 will offer unlimited data with 3G speed up to 3GB per day and remain valid for 90 days.
The company launched 'Dil Khol Ke Bol' plan for Rs 349 in which its customers will get unlimited local and STD calls and 2GB data with 3G speed every day after which the speed will get reduced to 80 kilobit per second.
In the third plan, 'Nehle pe Dehla', BSNL is offering 3,000 minutes of calls on BSNL network and 1,800 minutes of calling on other network along with 2GB daily data at 3G speed for Rs 395. The plan has validity of 71 days.
BSNL has also revised daily data usage limit in its Rs 339 plan to 3GB from 2GB offered earlier. Once an user exhausts Rs 3GB of data, the speed will get reduced to 80 kbps.
