JAMMU: A moderate intensity earthquake measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale hit Ladakh at 4:13 on Saturday evening.
No report of casualty or damage has come from anywhere so far.
The report of today's earthquake comes days after another moderate intensity earthquake measuring 5.4 on the Richter Scale hit the Ladakh region on December 7. The tremors were also felt across the Kashmir valley.
The epicentre of the quake was near the India-China border in the Ladakh region, officials said. However, there was no report of any damage to property or casualty.
