Terrorists kill former sarpanch in J&K's Anantnag

Jammu:  Suspected terrorists shot dead a former Sarpanch in Anantnag district in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday. 

The deceased, Ghulam Rasool Ganie, was shot dead in Nambal Mattan area of Anantnag.

Ganie was immediately taken to Mattan hospital after being fired open where he was declared brought dead by doctors.

A shopkeeper and former Peoples Democratic Party sarpanch, Ganie was at his shop when suspected militants opened fire at him, reports said.
