Ranchi: Days after the tragic Gorakhpur incident, 52 infants deaths were reported from Jamshedpur's Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College (MGM) hospital in Jharkhand.
The MGM Hospital superintendent attributed the deaths to malnutrition.
All the infants died in the last 30 days.
Vast scale deaths have triggered panic among the parents of the infants admitted there.
MGM Medical College, Jamshedpur was established on November 14, 1961. It was undertaken by Government of Bihar in the year 1979. Presently with the capacity of 540 beds, MGMMCH offers its patients services of qualified doctors and trained paramedical staffs. College is affiliated by Kolhan University, Chaibasa since 2010.
