Mahudi: Senior BJP leader Yashwant Sinha was arrested on Tuesday in Jharkhand for taking out Navratri march.
Yashwant Sinha was arrested as he took out Navratri march through a restricted route in Hazaribagh's Mahudi of Jharkhand, according to news agency ANI.
Reportedly, the former Union Minister and his supporters had come to Mahudi village to take out a procession on a religious festival.
The district administration stopped Sinha and his supporters from proceeding further, after which he sat on a dharna.
100 other villagers were also arrested with BJP leader Yashwant Sinha.
