File Photo The Virudhunagar Lok Sabha Constituency is one of the 39 parliamentary constituencies in Tamil Nadu. This constituency was formerly known as Sivakasi. It came into existence post the delimitation of the constituencies in Tamil Nadu.
Virudhunagar registered 72.15 percent voter turnout in 2019, a loss of 2.81 percent. The total number of electors in the constituency is 1480600 while the total voter turnout is 1068220. While in 2014, the constituency registered 74.96 percent voter turnout. The total number of electors in the constituency was 1346238 while the total voter's turnout was 1009114.
