Former BJP MLA`s son shot dead in Lucknow

The BJP leader had represented the Domariaganj assembly constituency in UP.

LUCKNOW: Son of a former BJP MLA was on Saturday night shot dead by criminals in Hazratganj area here, the police said.

Ex-legislator Jippi Tiwari had represented the Domariaganj assembly constituency of Siddhartnagar district in eastern Uttar Pradesh.

It was not immediately clear what led to the attack, or the identity of the assailants. A police investigation is currently on.
