Bhopal: In an unfortunate incident, at least eight persons were injured after an explosion occurred in 59320 Bhopal-Ujjain passenger train in Madhya Pradesh's Shajapur area on Tuesday.

According to police, a coach caught fire after the explosion near the Jabri railway station. 


Bhopal Division PRO, IA Siddiqui said injured passengers have been admitted to Kalapipal Government hospital.


A bomb disposal squad has reached the accident site, which is around 81 km from Bhopal, and is trying to ascertain the cause and the nature of the blast.


The Railways have made available helpline numbers for those seeking information about their relatives in the train.
