Blast in 59320 Bhopal-Ujjain passenger train, at least 8 injured

In an unfortunate incident, at least six persons were injured, after an explosion occurred in 59320 Bhopal-Ujjain passenger train in Madhya Pradesh's Shajapur area on Tuesday.

Bhopal: In an unfortunate incident, at least eight persons were injured after an explosion occurred in 59320 Bhopal-Ujjain passenger train in Madhya Pradesh's Shajapur area on Tuesday.

According to police, a coach caught fire after the explosion near the Jabri railway station. 

Bhopal Division PRO, IA Siddiqui said injured passengers have been admitted to Kalapipal Government hospital.

A bomb disposal squad has reached the accident site, which is around 81 km from Bhopal, and is trying to ascertain the cause and the nature of the blast.
