Here's how four-year-old boy was rescued from borewell after over 35 hours in Madhya Pradesh's Dewas

Dewas: Roshan, a four-year-old boy, who fell into a 150-feet deep borewell in Dewas, was finally rescued on Saturday night.

Later, the boy talking to Zee Media in the hospital said that he had biscuits after being recused.

Following are the details of how he was rescued safely:

- He was rescued around 10.45 on Saturday night, Dewas district Superintendent of Police Anshuman Singh had said.

- Roshan had fallen into an uncovered borewell while playing in a field in the village around 11 am on Saturday.

- As an Army team was roped in to rescue him, a race against time began as he was stuck 30 feet below the surface.

- He was given fluids through a pipe and oxygen was pumped into the borewell.

- Throughout the operation, his parents kept talking to Roshan and he responded.

- The rescuers had earlier planned to pull him out by digging a parallel trench and then connecting it with the borewell through a tunnel, the SP had said.

- The trench was dug, but soon they realised that the rescue in this way will take much longer, which could be fatal for the boy.

- Then, changing the tack, a rope with a noose was dropped into the borewell, and the boy was asked to tighten the noose around his arm so that he could be pulled out.

- The boy followed the instructions and was then pulled out successfully.

- He was fine and taken to a nearby hospital for a check-up.
