Mumbai: A fire broke out at a godown in Dharavi on Friday morning, which was extinguished within an hour. No casualties have been reported so far.

Eight fire fighting vehicles, four water tankers and one ambulance were rushed to the spot. The incident took place around 9 am on Friday. 


Dharavi, one of the largest slum in the world, houses more than 7 lakh people.


In 2016, a massive fire broke out in Dharavi’s Premnagar slum, engulfing more than 150 shanties and godowns.
