BSE's Rs 1,500-crore IPO to launch on January 23

BSE Ltd is set to launch its initial public offer on January 23 and the IPO will be on sale up till January 25, said the filing made by BSE.

Mumbai: BSE Ltd is set to launch its initial public offer on January 23, which will be on sale up till January 25, said the filing made by BSE.

The BSE is targeting to raise around 13.5 billion rupees ($198 million) through the IPO.

The RHP filed by the BSE with Sebi, more than 300 shareholders in BSE, including Singapore Exchange and a Citigroup unit, will sell up to 15.4 million shares with a face value of 2 rupees each.

The shares are expected to list on rival National Stock Exchange, on or around Feb. 3. The National Stock Exchange, also filed for an IPO in December 2016 and is looking at raising around $1 billion.
