Apple iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus up for pre-order in India: All you need to know
The latest iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will be available in the country from September 29 -a week after they start retailing in the US.
New Delhi: Apple enthusiasts in India can pre-book the latest iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus on Friday. Buyers can place their order online through Flipkart, Amazon, Reliance Digital and Infibeam.
While if you want to pre-book the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus offline, you could do so at one of the outlets of Redington India, Brightstar, Croma, Vijay Sales and other authorised retailers.
The latest iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will be available in the country from September 29 –a week after they start retailing in the US.
iPhone 8 64GB costs Rs 64,000 in India while 256GB variant will be available for Rs 77,000. iPhone 8 Plus starts at Rs 73,000 for the 64GB variant while the 256GB variant will cost Indian users Rs 86,000.
Apple unveiled the new iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus at a jam-packed event in Cupertino on September 12.
The company also launched its 10th anniversary iPhone X, featuring facial recognition unlocking and other refinements, touting the device as the next generation of mobile computing.
iPhone X will be available in silver and space grey in 64GB and 256GB models starting at Rs 89,000 from November 3 in India. The pre-order of the device will begin from October 27.
All three new handsets are capable of wireless charging and are adapted for augmented reality with more powerful processors and cameras.
