New Delhi: After its blockbuster entry into the telecom space with the launch of Jio SIM cards, Reliance Jio is now reportedly working with Google to bring affordable 4G smartphone.

As per a report in the Business Line, the smartphone will work on Jio's 4G network.


 


The phone is expected to be launched before the end of this year, the paper said, adding that both the companies working together even on developing software for RJio’s smart TV services.


Google had launched their Android One smartphones in collaboration with Micromax, Spice and Karbonn in 2014. However, despite pricing them in the sub-Rs 6,500 segment and much excitement, it failed to live up to its expectations.
