New Delhi: Reliance Digital will offer 70 percent buyback on the original purchase price of iPhone 8 and 8 Plus in India. Customers will get the buyback amount on return of the device after a year.

Buyers will be able to pre-order iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus beginning Friday (September 22) Reliance Digital, Jio.com, Jio Store, Flipkart, Amazon and Infibeam.


Those willing to pre-book the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus offline, could do so at one of the outlets of Redington India, Brightstar, Croma, Vijay Sales and other authorised retailers.


The latest iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will be available in the country from September 29 –a week after they start retailing in the US.


Additionally customers will get Rs 10,000 cashback on September 29, the day of the launch, when they use a Citibank credit card to purchase the phone.


iPhone 8 64GB costs Rs 64,000 in India while 256GB variant will be available for Rs 77,000. iPhone 8 Plus starts at Rs 73,000 for the 64GB variant while the 256GB variant will cost Indian users Rs 86,000.


Additionally, iPhone X, will be available for pre-order from October 27, and for purchase from November 2, 2017.


According to sources, Reliance Jio has launched a tariff plan especially for iPhone 8. The Rs 799 plan will provide 90 GB of data per month for post-paid users, over and above the free voice, SMS and complimentary subscription to Jio`s premium applications. the Rs 799 plan is also available for pre-paid users with a 28 day validity.
