Samsung likely to launch Tizen powered Z2 smartphone in India today

New Delhi: South Korean electronics manufacturer Samsung is expected to launch its Tizen powered smartphone Z2 at an event in India on Tuesday.

The company has sent out media invites for its event scheduled for today, though there is no mention on any upcoming launch, all the media reports indicate that its Z2 smartphone will be unwrapped.

Samsung, has for long been rumoured to launch its budget phone based on the Tizen operating system in India where the Z1 and Z3 are already existing Tizen phones.

As per further media reports, the Samsung Z2 might come up with the following features.

1.5GHz quad-core processor

1GB RAM

8GB expandable storage

3.97-inch display

0.3 MP front-facing VGA camera

5MP rear-camera

1,500mAh battery
