New Delhi: Chinese handset maker Xiaomi's recently launched smartphone Redmi 3S and the higher memory model 3S Prime too are witnessing unprecedented sales like its other flagship devices.
The Redmi 3S and 3S Prime went on for sale on Wednesday on both Flipkart and Mi.com. However, the devices went out of stock within minutes of commencement of the sale.
The next sale will start on August 31 at 12 pm on both platforms.
Targeting the sub-10K market category, Redmi 3S is priced at Rs 6,999 and the higher memory model Redmi 3S Prime with fingerprint sensor at Rs 8,999.
Crafted in premium metal body, Redmi 3S has a five-inch HD screen weighing just 144 gms and its body is 10 percent thinner than the Redmi 2.
Its 13mega pixel rear camera - which builds on Redmi 2`s success which saw users producing high quality photos - comes with phase detection, auto focus and supports 1080 p video recording with modes for various shooting conditions.
Redmi 3S also supports expandable memory upto 128GB microSD cards and the Redmi 3S Prime additionally features ultra-fast phone unlocking with fingerprint sensor, a 3GB RAM and 32GB storage.
Both models are presently available in Dark Grey, Silver and Gold colours.
