Mumbai: A massive fire broke out in a high-rise residential building in Mumbai's Worli on Wednesday. All occupants of the building have been evacuated. No casualties have been reported due to the incident so far.
According to initial reports, the fire was reported at the 33rd floor of the Beaumonde building located on Appasaheb Marathe Marg, Prabhadevi.

The fire was first reported around 2.16 pm, according to the fire brigade officials. At least six fire engines are currently on the spot to douse the fire.
The fire department officials claimed that it was a Level- L 2 fire.
As of now, the fire has been confined to 32nd and the 33rd-floor of the duplex flat of high-rise residential building. However, a thick plume of smoke can still be seen billowing out of the building.
Several agencies including Mumbai Fire Brigade, Mumbai Police, local hospital staff are engaged in the relief and rescue work. Besides six fire engines, 5 jumbo tankers and 1 hydraulics platform is being used to douse the fire. A medical team along with an ambulance are also present at the spot to meet any emergency.
It has emerged that popular Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone also owns a flat in this building, which is in a posh locality.
What caused the fire is still unknown.
