Mumbai: A video of a motorcycle rider repeatedly slapping a traffic constable after he was caught for allegedly jumping a signal at Vasai in Thane has now come to fore.
The incident, which was caught on a CCTV camera installed on the road, took place in the evening on Sunday.

Sohail Memon, the man in question was, riding the motorcycle without helmet while his wife and child were seated pillion.
A non-cognisable offence has also been registered against Memon.
In the video that went viral on the social media, Memon can be seen slapping constable Kalu Munde on his left cheek.
ANI quoted Vasai Traffic Inspector Sampatrao Patil as saying that a NC has been registered with the police.
He also informed that a case against Memon will be filed under section 353 (assaulting a government servant) after investigation.
