Mumbai: Not just the main cast (Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani) of Baaghi 2, even Salman Khan has come out in support of Jacqueline Fernandez's Ek Do Teen, a recreated version of the super-hit track from 1988 film Tezaab. But it seems as if Bollywood's original Dhak Dhak girl Madhuri Dixit isn't pleased with it.
Ever since the video of the recreated version was unveiled, Twitter has been flooded with mixed reactions.
And now according to a report in dnaindia.com, Jacqueline has been trying to get a feedback from Madhuri but the latter has been ignoring her messages.
This is surprising because when Badrinath ki Dulhania lead pair - Varun and Alia - had featured in a recreated version of Tamma Tamma (again a song featuring Madhuri), the 1990s diva had appreciated them and had even taught them some of the original dance steps. But going by the latest buzz, it looks as if that Madhuri is not quite happy. However, Madhuri hasn't reacted to the video yet.
Before the launch of the film, while talking about the song, Jacqueline had said that nobody can come close to Madhuri Dixit's performance in the original song.
"I can't wait for Madhuri ma'am to watch the song. It is my tribute to her. Her performance in the original is unmatchable. Forget me, no one can ever come close to her," Jacqueline said in a statement.
Baaghi 2 is the sequel to the 2016 film Baaghi.
The film is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner name Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and presented by Fox Star Studios. It will release on March 30.
