Congressmen tie pigeon inside rocket to welcome their leader – A must watch for Rahul Gandhi

Eluru: It seems that Congress workers have found a bizarre or rather painful way to welcome their leaders.

In a shocking incident, some of these activists tied a pigeon, with Congress' flag sticker over it, inside a rocket and fired it in air to mark the arrival of APCC President N Raghuveera Reddy.

The incident took place at Kovvuru town in West Godvari district on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the Congress volunteers have claimed that once the rockets are fired in the sky, the birds fly away unharmed. In contradiction to it, some reports claim that such incidents have killed at least two birds.

Notably, the barbaric incident happened when the entire world is observing 'World Animal Day' today.

On one hand Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi visited the Dadri lynching victim Iqlakh's family yesterday to offer condolences and on the other hand his partymen show intensiveness towards an innocent creature.
