Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu's son Lokesh has got an elevation in the party with his appointment as the General Secretary of its Central Committee.
Naidu today announced two separate committees for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in the wake of the state's bifurcation.
Naidu would be the President of the party's central committee, as per the party plans to emerge as a national party.
Lokesh, who has been the coordinator of party workers welfare fund, would be one of the general secretaries in the Central Committee.
Lokesh (32) is an MBA graduate from Stanford University in the United States.
K Kala Venkat Rao and L Ramana have been named Presidents of TDP's Andhra Pradesh and Telangana committees respectively.
