Ahead of the upcoming Bihar Assembly polls, former state chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi met Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah on Saturday over discusions related to the seat-sharing formula between NDA and its allies and said that a formal announcement is likely to be made tomorrow.

“Discussions are on and we will meet again tomorrow. We hope to agree on the issue by tomorrow,” Manjhi was quoted by ANI.

According to reports, Manjhi is unhappy that his party Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) is being given only 15 seats and wants to contest on at least 25 more.

BJP will contest 162 of the total 243 Assembly seats while Ram Vilas Paswan's Lok Janshakti Party is likely contest on 41 seats, As per reports.

Meanwhile, Upendra Kushwaha's Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP) will fight on 25.

Bihar goes to polls beginning next month in a five-phase election from October 12 to November 5.
