The search and rescue operation is still underway.
As per the report, the SDRF team has also been called up at the site by the district administration.
Of the 38 districts of Bihar, nearly 20 districts are flood affected. At least 19 persons have lost their lives in the flood in the past three days while over 5 lakh people have been displaced.
Auranagabad, like most parts of state, has been hit hard by incessant rains and consequent flooding of rivers which have disrupted normal life.
River Sone and Ganga are flowing above the danger mark in almost all the twelve flood-affected districts.
Earlier today, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and sought Centre's intervention as he insisted that desilting river Ganga is the only solution to avoid the almost annual occurrence of floods in the state during Monsoon.
"PM Modi has offered assurance to me and has said immediate and positive action will be taken on my demands, including formulating a national silt management policy," CM Nitish said after meeting the Prime Minister.
