New Delhi: When it comes to contesting crucial elections, right campaign strategy can make big differences. Grand Alliance's spectacular show in Bihar elections is also a result of its impressive campaign. And the man who was behind its campaign strategy is Prashant Kishor– one who helped BJP secure landslide victory in 2014 General Elections.
In 2014 Lok Sabha elections, BJP was lauded for putting up a great show in election campaign which paid it dividends. Now, Nitish Kumar's campaign strategy in Bihar elections has also resulted in him becoming a crowned winner.
In May this year, Prashant Kishor, 37, who hails from Buxar in Bihar, parted ways with the BJP and came out to support Nitish and designed his campaign strategy.
A public health expert, Kishor had left his job with the United Nations in 2011 and joined a team of young professionals who worked on the Modi campaign for nearly three years. Many have credited him with being the architect of 'chai per charcha' and 3D hologram campaign which contributed significantly to Modi's election victory.
He along with some 60 other professionals had set up Citizens for Accountable Governance (CAG), initially to galvanise votes for Modi and later to address social issues.
From BJP's 'Chai pe Charcha' to JD(U)'s 'Parcha (pamphlet) pe charcha', 'Bal-Narendra' to 'Munna se Nitish', he planned the campaign in such a way that it turned out victorious for both the leaders.
