The PM made the comments during his campaigning in the state's Gopalganj area. BJP contestants from the neighbouring areas were also present.

He said that the opposition is perturbed because people in large numbers in Bihar have come out to support BJP, evident from the large gatherings at the venues.

Modi said the more people shower their love to his party the more angry the opposition becomes.

He said that his detractors have stooped to a new low.

The Congress and some regional parties have ruled the state for decades but what they have done for the people, he asked.
