"The poll authorities have sought a report. Action will be taken accordingly. An FIR has been lodged," Deputy Election Commissioner in charge of Bihar Umesh Sinha told reporters here.

When asked against whom the FIR has been lodged, EC officials said details were still awaited.

Some reports have suggested that while casting his vote, Singh, a senior BJP leader, took some news channel camerapersons with him who took pictures of him casting his vote on EVM.

In a tweet some hours ago, Singh claimed that while he was in Barhiya, he was shown in Navada by media which spins "fake news".
