Patna: In a gruesome incident, a female junior engineer was tied to a chair and burnt to death in Bihar's Muzaffarpur district, police said on Tuesday
The incident took place on Sunday night, police officials said.

The deceased, identified as Sarita Devi, lived separately from her husband in a rented house, and was was attacked by unidentified miscreants.
The police were were informed about the crime on Monday.
"We have began an investigation," Muzaffarpur's Senior Superintendent of Police Vivek Kumar said.
Police said kerosene oil was used to burn her.
