Chennai: Have you seen this childhood picture of Jayalalithaa? 

This picture was clicked when she was studying in Bishop Cotton Girls' School of Bengaluru.

According to current Principal of Bishop Cotton Girls' School, Bengaluru, Jayalalithaa was a brilliant student and a good athlete when she used to be here.

"I feel proud, and privileged because I got the opportunity to attend two oath ceremonies of her," the current principal of Bishop Cotton Girls' School said.

Jayalalithaa, Amma to millions, passed away at Chennai's Apollo Hospital at 11.30 PM on Monday. 

The mortal remains of Amma have been kept at Rajaji Hall for the public to pay their last respects.

Her cremation will take place at 4:30 PM on Tuesday at MGR Memorial, Marina Beach.
