AAP leader Shazia Ilmi`s brother joins BJP, ready to campaign for VK Singh
Lok Sabha Elections 2014 - Aijaz Ilmi, the brother of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Shazia Ilmi, joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday.

New Delhi: Aijaz Ilmi, the brother of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Shazia Ilmi, joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday. Aijaz when asked about his move said he had been in contact with the BJP for some time now. “This (move) was in talks for 2-3 months, I had made this decision then,” said Aijaz.
When asked if he would be willing to campaign against his sister, Aijaz said he would follow party`s instruction in the mater. “I will campaign for VK Singh if the party asks me to,” he summed up saying. Shazia Ilmi, who is contesting on AAP ticket from Ghaziabad, faces stiff competition from former Army chief General Vijay Kumar Singh.
